1. Introduction
JHD Investment Group LLC (d/b/a "eWallet," "we," "us," or "our") uses electronic communications to deliver important information about your account, transactions, security, and services. This Electronic Communications Policy describes the types of communications you may receive and how you can manage your preferences.
By creating an eWallet account, you consent to receive electronic communications from us as described in this policy and our E-Sign Disclosure.

We send various types of communications to keep you informed about your account and our services:
Transactional Communications
These are messages related to your specific transactions and account activity:
- Payment confirmations: Receipts for completed payments and transfers

Our primary communication method. Emails are sent from @ewallet.app and @notifications.ewallet.app domains. Please add these to your safe sender list.

SMS Text Messages
Short text messages for time-sensitive information:

In-app notifications on your mobile device (when enabled):

You can manage push notification settings in your device's settings menu or within the eWallet app.
In-App Messages
Notifications displayed within the eWallet application:

4. Required Communications
Certain communications are essential for the operation of your account and security. These cannot be disabled:
Cannot Be Disabled
- Security alerts: Notifications about suspicious activity, login attempts, and fraud
- Legal notices: Changes to terms, policies, and regulatory disclosures
- Account status: Notifications about account restrictions, closures, or required actions
- Tax documents: Annual tax forms (1099) and related communications
- Dispute communications: Updates about disputes, chargebacks, and resolutions
Frequency of Required Communications
- Security alerts: As needed, based on account activity
- Legal notices: When policies change (typically 30 days advance notice)
- Account statements: Monthly (if account is active)
- Tax documents: Annually (January-February)
5. Marketing Communications
With your consent, we may send marketing communications about:
- New features and product updates
- Promotional offers and discounts
- Partner offers and rewards
- Tips and educational content
- Surveys and feedback requests
Opting Out of Marketing
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time:
- Email: Click the "Unsubscribe" link in any marketing email
- SMS: Reply STOP to any marketing text message
- In-App: Go to Settings → Notifications → Marketing
- Contact Support: Email support@ewallet.app with your request
Note: Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional or security communications.
Marketing Opt-Out Timing
We will process your opt-out request within 10 business days. You may receive previously scheduled messages during this period.
6. Managing Your Preferences
You have control over many of your communication preferences:
In the eWallet App
- Go to Settings → Notifications
- Toggle individual notification types on or off
- Choose your preferred methods (email, SMS, push)
- Set quiet hours for non-urgent notifications
On the Website
- Log in at app.ewallet.app
- Navigate to Settings → Communication Preferences
- Select your preferred options and save
Available Preferences
- Transaction alerts: Choose email, SMS, push, or combination
- Marketing communications: Opt in or out completely
- Payment reminders: Enable or disable scheduled payment alerts
- Balance alerts: Set low balance threshold notifications
- Weekly digest: Receive a weekly summary instead of individual alerts
7. Keeping Your Information Updated
To ensure you receive important communications, please keep your contact information current:
What to Keep Updated
- Email address: Primary method for most communications
- Phone number: Required for SMS and two-factor authentication
- Mailing address: Used for paper communications and regulatory mailings
How to Update
- In the app: Settings → Profile → Contact Information
- Online: Log in and go to Account Settings
- Contact support: Email or call to request changes
Verification Required
For security, changes to your email or phone number require verification:
- A verification code will be sent to your new contact method
- You must confirm the change within 24 hours
- Both old and new contact methods receive notification of the change
