Regulatory Structure

Rather than obtaining individual state money transmitter licenses, we operate under a bank partnership model where our regulated partner banks provide the underlying financial services. This structure is common among fintech companies and is authorized under federal and state banking laws.

PCI DSS Compliance

eWallet operates within a PCI DSS-compliant ecosystem through our certified payment partners.

Card funding, tokenization, and payment processing occur within PCI DSS-compliant environments provided by our authorized third-party processors. We do not store raw card numbers. Card details are tokenized and stored by PCI DSS-certified processors including Stripe.

SOC 2 Hosting

Our production systems are hosted in secure, audited data center environments.

Our production systems operate in SOC 2-certified data centers provided by Vultr, with enforced encryption, network segmentation, and audited access controls.

ISO 27001 Alignment

We follow industry-standard security practices aligned with international information security standards.

Our security controls align with ISO 27001 standards, and several of our service providers hold ISO 27001 certifications. We implement comprehensive security measures including encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments.
